I'm back, I still haven't solved by Ping problem but maybe its ok, more later on that.

I keep meaning to tell you all about this software & cd that I recently bought that reprograms your brain for success, but haven't.

I don't have the energy for a big piece now but can't keep teasing you without telling more.

Basically it started with a link to a site that gives you a published book that costs $23 for free if you take it via email. There's about 100 chapters and I'm upto #11.

As it's free the best thing for you to do is to get it yourself, read the first few chapters and then you can just unsubscribe if its not for you. But I am pretty impressed and spent near on $100 with them within days of getting the mails.

Zeus Headaches

I have been trying to get to grips with Zeus the robot that finds link partners. It's a great tool but can be a little frustrating getting started.

So I've had one of those days where I don't feel like I've got anything done, although I have had 3 affiliates signup & received a cheque for £50 for an affiliate product that I have been promoting. (that's just for 1 sale, I'm waiting for the others to come through).

On the other side of the coin I had a sale I made yesterday for £27 reversed which I'm really hacked off about.

I'm also getting overwhelmed with mail mainly because in the quest for partners I have joined a lot of mailing lists but also I seem to be overwhelmed with offers of software, viagra & bored housewives who's husbands are out of town.

My other problem is that since moving my news feeds back to blogger from radiouserland Yahoo doesn't seem to be coming by anymore.

I need some ping technology and I'm off to find it now. I will return

Change of Plan

As I was surfing yesterday looking for sites that might want to giveaway my ebooks to promote The Money Seed I found lots of sites that are happy to exchange links!

Links to a site always help although as Google changes the rules and starts a bias towards 1 way links they are not as useful as they were.

Anyway I remembered that I had paid for a pro copy of Zeus and never really used it. (I wanted to spend some money in March before the end of the tax year)

Zeus is a tool that spiders the web and finds sites related to your own that might want to swap links. It then mails sites that you approve and requests a link exchange.

The new plan then is to run Zeus (It's running now) & then include details of the affiliate program in the link request mail. I will allow incoming links to be affiliate links so that the referring site will also earn if any body follows the link from their site.

I will also ask if they will giveaway my free ebook or send a mailing to their list.

I now need to record an audio message for my affiliate toolbox to encourage visitors to join up and to get started.

Frustration & optimism

Today I have mostly been trying to find partners for my affiliate program which involves surfing sites that have visitors that might be interested in my product and making contact with the webmaster. Today has been a surfing day, tomorrow will be a make contact day.

Affiliates in my program get to give away a free book full of advanced eBay tactics, the world is eBay crazy at the moment so this should be easy, but I've been through this cycle before with an earlier business and it's not my favorite job.

Niche JV

I have been setting up a couple of pages today for products that I have resale rights to. The first is Niche JV which is by Jimmy D Brown & Ryan Deiss.
I haven't read the book myself yet but these guys always deliver and I'm sure I will be pleased with the book when I read it tonight and it's sure to be more interesting than the TV. You can check it out at www.themoneyseed.com/nichejv

I got the resale rights to both of these products at the Directory of Marketing, this is a members club that supports internet marketers and buys the resale rights for products as well as products for members to use. I also got Niche Factors resale rights from the DOM (www.themoneyseed.com/nichefactors)

I'm also going to try and find time to try out another item supplied by DOM and that is a piece of software that helps with promoting to forums. If you read my piece last week about getting started with an online business for no money then you will know that one aspect I recommended is posting to forums.

Not much work done today.

I have added some Adsense campaigns to the new blogs I mentioned yesterday although the sites haven't been spidered yet so they are showing public service ads at the moment. I wasn't going to mention the urls for them yet but Pauls first post made me laugh.

I don't know if it is actually funny or if its just because I know Paul and his use of language tickles me. Paul is an acedemic and lectures at a University in the UK. Anyway check out his one and only post, so far.

I have been getting to grips with my Traffic Secrets course today

I don't think I mentioned it before but I did buy a copy of this $999 course. It is very good and once I make my fortune I'm sure that $999 won't seem like much money. I have been all through the course once but at that time didn't have my product and site ready.

It is ready now and went live on Friday and made the first sale in the early hours of Saturday morning. I'm not really sure how that happened as I've not properly started to promote it yet and have only had about 20 hits since I relaunched the site and most of them are from spiders. I'm not compalining you understand just puzzled.

A bit of a quite day to day work wise, I have spent most of the day helping a friend remove windows NT from a secondhand machine he has aquired, memory problems have meant its been a slow job. (Mine not the PC)

Anyway Paul (the friend) is a freelance writer and wants to set up some blogs of his own and we've had a hundred crazy ideas, I'll announce them here if they come to fruition.

Anyway todays post has nothing to say, but just keeps me in the habit of posting.

Article Announcing

Today I have been looking for places to submit the article that I wrote yesterday.

I have not used articles as a way of promoting before but have known for some time that it is a good way to get visitors. It's just that you can't do everything at once.

So far I've found www.goarticles.com and I've submitted the article there and I found www.web-source.net/articlesub.htm which has some interesting help for promoting articles.

I have also created two new Adwords campaigns and posted some PPC listings at Overture, so far I've done the UK and Australia.

Australia Overture always seems to take a long while to approve my listings, I noticed with recent ads that Overture US seems to automate approval with some listings being approved within an hour.

The Adwords campaigns were for a new product that has been launched recently and for a loan company.

Nearly the weekend. When you have a proper job the weekends are a good time for a rest, I will still do things other than work but when you are self employed its not easy to stop thinking about business.

Making Money Online With Nothing Down

If you want to get started with an online business without risking any money but you have time to spend then this report will show you how to do that.
Basically the best way to earn without making any investment is to promotesomebody else's product for commission and that is the method we will discuss today.
I will use our affiliate program in the example process that I outline below, we take affiliates from anywhere in the world and this process can be operated anywhere in the world. The process will work equally well with hundreds and thousands of other affiliate programs.
Step one is to join an affiliate program that pays at two levels i.e. a 2 tier program. Our sign up page can be found at www.themoneyseed.com/affiliate .
When you join you should get your own link to the main site where the sales process starts for that site and also a link for recruiting new affiliates. You can usually use the main link for affiliates also but there may be a link that takes the visitor straight to the affiliate sign up page.
Once you have a link you should do the following:
1. Add a signature to your emails, this will mean that every mail you send will have a tag line at the bottom which, in this case, will promote the service that you are affiliated with.
2. Locate forums where people interested in the product might hang out. Do a search for a keyword followed by forum. Try and think of all the different related subjects that might have forums and identify as many as possible.
Once you have identified your forums visit them all and join the ones that allow posters to add a signature file to their posts. Add a signature, which will usually be done in your profile. Then get involved in conversations be useful whenever possible and every time you post an item your affiliate link will be displayed.
3. If you have an eBay account then create an About Me page and include details of the affiliate program there. Click help and search for About Me at eBay to find instructions on creating your page.
Whenever you list an auction include a line at the top of the description that invites viewers to visit your About Me page. In our example you might say visit my About Me page for a copy of our free ebook. 4. Locate sites that have visitors that might be interested in the product that you are affiliated with especially those that have a mailing list or an ezine. Then contact the site owner and suggest that they join the affiliate program.If they join you will earn a percentage of any commissions that they earn.
5. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat. With so many things success comes down to numbers. The more site owners you contact and the more forums that you post at the more commission you will earn.
Do all of the above and you will earn money for no investment, it may take time and might start slowly but it will happen.

Making Money Online

MMO I & II are giveaway products to promote my paid for eBook which is 'The Money Seed'.

This week I have been creating the affiliate program which I am operating through 1shopping cart. So I have set up the system and created an affiliate toolbox to help my affiliates to get started as quickly as possible. The affiliate program is now finished.

I have also finished writing MMO II but it now needs editing and cleaning up ready for publishing later in the week. I am also writing an article on how to get started making money online for free, I will post this to article directories later in the week.

All of these have been created to encourage people to buy 'The Money Seed' and to join the affiliate program.

In between times I am creating Adwords campaigns promoting other peoples products through their affiliate programs.

I still havn't struck gold with Adwords, I have a number of campaigns that make a good profit percentage wise but I can't seem to find one that makes a good ROI which I can also get lots of traffic for.

I will persevere.
